about
someday … I’ll be where I belong
someday … I’ll be what I long to be
I’m a designer from New York City, currently transplanted to Munich northern Sweden London. I’m an observer and traveler. I love seeing new things and seeing things in new ways.

Short form:
My work is about longing, belonging, and belongings.
Long (rambly) form:
I like to create and collect beautiful things.
I like “making something out of nothing”.
I like seeing new things and seeing things in a new way.
I am obsessed with the visual and the tactile.
I love exploring the potential of different materials, especially repurposed ones, and letting the materials tell me what they long to be.
I am fascinated by process:
how things — including products, spaces and systems — are developed, created, distributed and used.
I enjoy exploring the connections between place, identity, language, food, and objects.
I’m also enamored by: French things, Asian things, cute things, unexpected things, city things, wee things, language-related things, tasty things, pretty things, sad things, sweet things, and just plain things.
