texture intervention, UID

Developed for the “Sensing and Sensuality” spring summit at the UmeĆ„ Institute of Design, March 27, 2009. I commandeered one of the sleek sofas floating around the school and altered the back by hand-stitching a lightweight, super-textured layer of fabric on it. The shapes look solid but are actually hollow. Touching encouraged!
